Preserving History through Community Outreach and Education

The Cass County Historical Society is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works toward preserving, researching, and promoting Cass County's rich heritage.  The Historical Society has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the Cass County area. The core of our work lies in our continuous passion for preserving local history and our dedication to community outreach and education to those in our community.

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at different area location.  Our lecture series events run from April - October, with our last event being the annual Fall Festival at the Newton House.  Please join us by supporting our efforts to educate and preserve history for future generations to enjoy!
